Wow my recent poll showed that quite a few of my watchers do not have a subby!
WOW! How do you survive?
So here is what I am going to do. I'm going to have a little contest
The prize will be a three month sub.
If you want in here is what you do.
Send me one thumb (note me or comment here) to feature and tell me why you want the sub.
I will feature everyone and then my watchers, that have subs, will vote on who should get one!
Sound like fun?
Lets see How about the end date to send in thumbs being August 7th. (I will be out of town so I will put up the feature on the 8th!
The voting will be the next week and I will give the subscription out the next week!

The reason I want a sub is because lately, I have been thinking about my future. I'm only a sophomore in high school, but I've got my whole life ahead of me. And I've been thinking about what I want to do for this life
I think I've decided that I might want to become some kind of artist. The kind I do now doesn't really have the ability to bring in actual profits to sustain living a normal life, but I thought about other art. What if I learn oil painting, or to become an art teacher? I think with a sub I can get my art out there better- see what people think. Then these people can tell me what they think I do or could do well. DeviantArt....is all art. So I think it is a great starting point for me in deciding what I want to do with my life and a subscription would help tremendously
I would like to have a sub, so that I can featured people in my journal, and to have polls to see what sorts of things my watchers want.
The reason that I would like a subby is the features that I don't have now, like being able to feature my watchers and anything I find needs more attention from people. It'll help me grow in by helping others gain recognition. It gives me the chance to add my personal touch to my profile, which in turns lets people see my work on a more emotional level if they can have a greater insight as to who I am through customizing my Profile.
The reason I've yet to buy one is plain and simple I am a broke ass
& there's is just not enough money right now to buy it, unfortunately so because I have wanted one since I joined Deviantart.
I am hoping that once my art is good enough I can start a larger Gallery online and truly take off with my artwork, (photography more so than digital art) and possibly even have my works viewed in physical Galleries as well
. But as with every big dream we have to start small, so here I am.
Yeah, i really would like to have a subscription.
I have six long weeks to photograph everything around me that didn't manage to climb on a tree at three (it's a German proverb, it losses a bit in translation
)
And I think a sub would be very useful, I always dreamed about one but I'm totally down and out and that means no Subscription for me
The reason why I want a subscription is well I like to donate prices with contests. But since I can't even buy myself a subscription, I'm not able to donate a subscription for others so I donate journal features. I now do that with providing the links, but of course it's not very useful for other. You have to click the link first before you can see the deviation. With a subscription I can put the thumb in my journal, so at least you can have a little preview of it first.
It is also that I never have had a subscription before, and since I see that people are really willing to pay for it, I'm very curious with why? What makes it so special and useful. I would love to find that out
What comes to the causes why I need it. I already told you my story in comment.
Hm... mostly I need it cuz of features. When I had subbie I did it every week. I like to promote artists, that haven't a lot of favs and page views, but actually really deserve them.
Also, my dream is to do some contest. We already thought about it with my friend. It'll be really cool. But to post links in journal's not a good idea.
I would like a subby because, first I'm curious and I want just to discover what a subby and how is it !
Then I think I could make better journals, 'cause we can present submission of great artists !
I'm only 16 and unfortunatley don't have any money to purchase my own sub(I need to get a job!!) and I would love to have a sub because they make me very curious
, I want to see what's so good about them.. I don't like being curious
It makes me fidgety
haha.
The main reason is because there are so many unknown artists that I think are amazing and I really want to get their work across as people did with my work. Features really helped get my work across and I would love to do the same to others.
